Guide to Creating Discount Codes for Products

Step 1: Access the store where you want to create a discount code for the product, then select “Promotion”. After that, click on the orange “Create Promotion” button in the upper right corner of the screen and choose “Amount off products”.

Step 2: Set Up Information for the Discount Code:

Method of Use to Receive the Offer (Method): Choose the method of use for customers to receive the offer.

Discount code: With this method, you will need to create a discount code, which can be generated automatically by clicking on the “Generate Code” button or manually entered in the “Discount code” field. To use the offer, customers must enter the code during the checkout process. Alternatively, the seller can use a link with the discount code pre-applied by adding the suffix ?pr=xxxxx (xxxxx is the code you created) to the product/collection/store link.

Automatic discount: The discount will be applied automatically without needing to enter a discount code.

Value: You can choose to apply the discount as a percentage or a specific monetary amount.

Applies to: Select the collections or specific products you want to set the discount for.

Minimum purchase requirements: You can choose to apply the discount to all orders without any conditions by selecting the “No minimum requirements” option. If you want to set a minimum order value to receive the discount, select “Minimum purchase amount ($)” and enter the minimum order value. If you want to set a condition for the minimum quantity of items in an order to receive the discount, select “Minimum quantity of items.”

Active date: Set the date when this discount offer will be effective.

Step 3: After filling in all the information, click the orange “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen.
