Guidelines for Creating Discount Codes for Orders

Step 1: Access the store where you want to create a discount code for the product, then select “Promotion.” After that, click on the orange “Create Promotion” button in the upper right corner of the screen and select “Amount off order.

Step 2: Set up information for the discount code:

Method: Choose the method that customers can use to receive the discount.

Discount code: With this method, you will need to create a code, which can be generated automatically by clicking on the “Generate Code” button or by entering information in the “Discount code” field to create a code manually. To use the discount, customers will need to enter the code during the checkout process. Alternatively, the seller can use a link with the discount code embedded by adding the suffix ?pr=xxxxx (xxxxx is the code you created) to the product/collection/store link.

Automatic discount: The discount will be applied automatically without requiring the entry of a discount code.

Value: You can choose to apply a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount here.

Minimum purchase requirements: You can choose to apply the discount to all orders without any conditions by selecting “No minimum requirements.” If you want to set a minimum order value to qualify for the discount, select “Minimum purchase amount ($)” and enter the minimum order value required for the discount. If you want to set a minimum quantity of items in an order to qualify for the discount, select “Minimum quantity of items.”

Active date: Set the time period during which the discount is valid.

Step 3: After filling in all the information, click the orange “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen.
