Guidelines for Updating IOSS Information for Orders to the EU

The IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) code is created to simplify and streamline the declaration and payment process of value-added tax (VAT) on goods sold from countries or territories outside the European Union (EU) into the EU market.

When using an IOSS code, your order sent to the EU will go through customs more smoothly. The applicable VAT rate will follow the regulations of the recipient country.

Sellers are required to enter the IOSS code during the order creation process. Below are the steps to update the IOSS information for orders shipped to the EU:

Step 1: In the IOSS section, enter a valid IOSS code (up to 10 numeric characters).

Step 2: Check the box “My IOSS code is valid and correct” to confirm that the code you entered is valid and accurate.

Once completed, you can choose Save to save the order and make the payment later, or proceed to payment immediately if all required information has been filled out.

Please note:

  • If you do not enter an IOSS code, the system will automatically use BurgerPrints’ IOSS code, and you will be charged a usage fee for this.
  • If you provide your own IOSS code, you are fully responsible for its validity and accuracy, and you will not be charged the IOSS fee by BurgerPrints.
  • Once the order has been paid, you will no longer be able to edit or update the IOSS code. If any changes are needed, please contact the BurgerPrints support team as soon as possible for assistance.

If you have any questions regarding the IOSS update process or encounter any issues during order creation, please contact BurgerPrints support for timely assistance and guidance.
